Dd-wrt image download pc

View previous topic :: View next topic. Hi I have downloaded and installed an image successfully on a 64 Bit PC. I do not want to have to use 'command line' to tweak all the iptables etc so I am wondering if there is a better image out there that would provide me with the Browser Interface to allow Web Browser Administration for the Router Settings. I now understand about the WAN settings. And as Boochi99 says, the WAN is disabled by default not sure why. I took out the PcieX one and rebooted. Hence the Second NIC card is not showing up when running 'ifconfig'. Just like any system you build yourself, you have to verify the drivers are available and will work for the additional NIC. Just lucky.

Hi I have been away from this project for awhile. I purchased a new Intel Lan Card and installed it into my unit. I am trying to get back up to where I was previously.

I am not sure just what this means. Step 3 - You will have to issue the following commands as SuperUser. Depending on the environment, you could login as root, use su or sudo. Click Start and then Run, type "command" in the open box and click open to bring up a command prompt. At command prompt navigate to where physdiskwrite is located.

Use command "dir" to list directory contents and verify that both files are there. The -u tag is used for large drives. Next you will select drive to apply the image to. Bring up a Command Prompt.

If using Vista, click the Start button, type cmd into the search box, right-click the cmd icon, and select Run as administrator. Navigate to the directory where you have the physdiskwrite utility and disk image. It might be easier to browse to the location in Windows and copy the location from the address bar.

Type the disk number of the spare drive. After it completes, shut down and unplug the computer to remove the drive and put it back in the DD-WRT machine.

You can connect them to computers or to a switch. You can figure out which interface is which by referencing the console screen after hooking up a cable to the interfaces. It tells you the status, which includes the interface number. The default IP address is of the router is
